2009 Crop up date

A quick note about this years crop.  We had a hot and dry summer this year, making for beautiful olives.  Rich in flavor and fat with oil.  We did receive rain this month which will supply our trees with badly needed water.  Looks like an excellent crop. 

 

Our demo went very well last Saturday.  We had a lot of good feedback and everyone who tasted our oil loved it.  One concern has to do with our clear bottles.  We are looking at changing our bottles to a dark bottles as our bottle inventory runs out.

Recipes Please

The kids are back to school and the weather is still beautiful.  Plenty of time for those last few barbecues.  We are looking for unique BBQ recipes that we can include in our recipes section of our blog.  If you are willing to share please send them to info@oldvillageoliveoil.com and we will publish them.
